|
|
I lost my MP3 player today, apparently.
I have no idea how it got lost, along with my workout gym shirt, but the only 2 option are theft from students at school, or it falling out, (highly unlikely).
well, regardles.. I'll have to get another goddamn MP3 and buy the special bass earbud I like so much to go along with it.
my old mp3 player was quite old but it kept on ticking, took a licking and I had a great armband to wear it around my upper arm in the gym when working out. I'd be very interested in an athletic type mp3.. or one with an athletic holder, blah blah.
I know Yongsan is where all the electronic stores are, right?
but I don't want a Korean mp3 and I don't want a Korean/Hangul "operating system" to deal with.
any thoughts or recommendations? |

There's Yongsan and if you know what you want you can also get it from gmarket. I'd recommend the Iaudios, they're Korean but you can choose the English setting in the options menu.
If your last mp3 wasn't loud enough. There's nothing wrong with the player, it's your ear buds. Your competing with too much background noise. You can go the expensive route and switch to IEMs, but that'll set you back a few hundred hundred. If you want a bassy entry model IEM, check out the Etymotic ER 6i. They're a bit 'Fragile' but they've got decent sound and pretty cheap at, $100
If you want something way cheaper. Try the Vmoda Vibes, they're about $20 bucks in the states (Don't know how much here. Even with the 'Import' mark up they can't be that much more). These little guys are REALLY BASSY. |

I had the 6i until I snagged the cord and replaced them with the hf5 model (newer model). They are absolutely fantastic and have a relatively flat EQ. However they aren't for people who like to pump up the bass. |

I wound up buying a Cowon E2 (didn't know Cowon was actually a Korean company) and bought another pair of V-Moda Bass Frequency earbuds which kick ass. I just got it today, so will try it out over the weekend and give you my verdict. |

Curious about the earbuds, where did you get them and how much were they? |

the V Moda bass frequency earbuds ROCK, dude!
highly highly recommended.
gmarket used to have them, but not these days.
but you can get them here:

45k.. in the States you could probably get them for 25-30 bucks
btw.. I'm also quite happy with my Cowon E2..
super light... louder than my previous player. the different sound settings kind of suck, so I keep it on "normal" setting, but quite happy with it! |
