Hey all. I couldn't find any information regarding this by a search so I'm gonna pose the question here.

I've been in Korea for about two years and I'm married to a Korean woman. Currently I'm working for various outsourcing programs where they send you to a company to teach employees.

What I want to know is;

1. Is it legal for me to work alone ? assuming I pay tax of course. And does anyone have a link to how I can register for paying tax ?

2. How can you contact companies/people directly to get these jobs ? And how much do people charge for this ?

Thank you all very much.

I've never worked as an independent contractor, but I know there are people who do it so I'll let them chime in.

I can't scan my ARC per the requirements, is there an alternative, or somewhere i could go to scan it?

I'm sure you have a digital camera/phone of some description. Just photograph it and email it AFEK

Maybe it's really an IQ test in disguise.
