I just bought a plane ticket from Korea to Seattle that's set to leave on Christmas Day. I bought it off of the US Airways website, but it says that it's a flight that is operated by Asiana Airlines. When I bought the ticket on the US Airways website, it just let me buy the ticket one-way, no problem. However, when I checked the Asiana website, it said that my ticket might be rejected at check-in because this flight requires a return ticket.

My contract is over and I am going home for an undetermined length of time. How do I deal with this? Can I avoid being forced to buy the extra plane ticket? What can I do if they try to tell me that I can't go?

Please help!

I am pretty sure that the round trip ticket is required for foreigners coming to America, that's why it is posted on the Asiana website. If you hold a US passport, you wont be rejected flying into America one way.

As long as you are American or Canadian (they can take a bus home) you do NOT need a return or onward passage for the flight from Korea to the States.

IF you are NOT from North America you need onward passage.
