Pay every month.

The price really depends if you get a villa, apartment or an officetel.

utilities bills anywhere between 10,000 to a couple of hundred depending on how much you use them, if you have gas or electric ondol and if you are in a villa, apart, officetel.

cable tv (normally with internet)
internet coupled with cable between 20-40,000

also if you will probably have management fees ranging from 20,000 to 150,000 a month.

For me I pay 117,000 in management and 30,000 in utilities and my internet is free (a long story) but would cost 22,000 and is unbelievably fast, I don't have cable and just download anything I want to watch.

Glad to know that I'm not the only one. And my internet connection fails a couple times a month.

Oh my goodness! 116,000 for power? Why so high? I only pay 20,000 for internet with no cable. I wonder why there's such a difference. I'm right outsid eof Seoul as well.

all per month:

maintenance fee - ~W100,000 to ~W150,000 (depending on the time of year)
gas - ~W6,000 to ~W50,000 (depending on the time of year)
internet - ~W18,000

my maintenance fee (which includes electricity) is usually low in the winter, but high in the summer (AC), while my gas bill is high in the winter (ondol heating) and low in the summer.

Yeah, what is this, you running a tanning salon in there or something? Of course, if this was last month and you kept the AC on constantly, I could see that...
