I have the TROMM washing machine. It is a great machine.

The question I have is about detergent. I was told only to use detergent that is made for this machine.

Has anyone used another kind of detergent?

Yes, this most likely is a stupid question. I was told that another type of detergent causes too many suds. Hey, this could be possible...(?)

Yes, I was also told about fan death (moronic) and last week I was told that if you mix coke with ice-cream and drink it you can choke to death because the foam will get you to choke. (I did not realize that when I was I kid I died)
I figure next week maybe I will bring in coke and ice-cream and kill some students.

Thanks in advance.

Front-loading automatic drum washing machines use a different washing powder than manual top-loading machines.

You should buy washing powder that has pictures of a drum machine on the packet.

"I know what you're thinking. 'Did he load regular detergent or drum?' Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself. But being as this is a front loading, automatic TROMM, the most powerful washing machine in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?"
