Does the CBC still have to be no less than 6 months old to be accepted by immigration? |

Yes.
(oh, and have an apostille or K-consulate certification (depending on where you are from)).

It also depends on where you are from. I am American, but was checking on something for a Canadian friend. The Korean Embassy in Canada said that Canandians CBC are only valid for 3 months. Don't know if it's changed or not. |

I think so, but I'm not 100%. I know that the only one I've found that short is the Canadian one. |

It was last year when I signed my contract. Perhaps it's changed since then, but I doubt it. |
