Thanks! All of these links are extremely helpful! Right now we are all just so focused on actually landing the EPIK job and getting to Korea. It's nice to have some help with the teaching.

Meagan,

Check the EPIK training manual (and my own contributions), also the SMOE one which has a lot of my stuff. Available on EFL Classroom in the Korea resources. Both have lots of references and material to support new teachers.

I'll say it again, I have only the highest respect for Andrew Finch's contribution to teaching/education here in Korea. He also has so many "gems" that haven't got their due notice. One of my favs is - Teachers, who needs them?

I'll be coming out with a textbook for teaching in a few weeks, working lots on it lately. It will be VERY teacher/student friendly and particulary for new teachers. Just start filling in the book and go with it. Part of my student created content methodology. Stay tuned.

Cheers,

DD

Thanks for all the links. They're fantastic. I'm hoping to find a job for February '11. I don't have any EFL experience and I really don't want to be a hack teacher.
