Those kittens weren't scared, were clueless as to what was happening. They weren't hurt in any way. |
Agreed.
Watch part 2. They get back into the box!

| cats and dogs are not toys to be played with. They have brains, sensory organs, have the capacity to suffer and feel a range of stimuli. Please don't abuse them. |

So you agree they would also like to have fun with their owners from time to time. |

My dog (rest in peace) used to stand on me and push me when we were playing around. Was she abusing me?
The answer is 'no'. It's just playing.

I'm sure if your boss at work toyed with you like this and you were hungry you'd think it was a form of abuse too. Me, I just give the dog meat without making it do tricks. |

| You mean the bosses that pay us to do tasks? Our dogs do tricks; they are their paid tasks. It's not abuse. They know that they'll get a treat after they do it. |

If anything dogs require it. They require a master. That's what they do, it's part of their instincts. Then they are the master's bitch (get it?) and do what they say.
Their master in the wild will eat everything it wants while the other dogs sit around hungry, or nibble on the crappy bits at first, until he says its ok. I'd rather have guaranteed quality food at the price of a bit of fun and playing with the master, personally.
Dogs wag their tails when happy and pant when excited. So, me holding a toy in the air out of reach of my dog who would both pant and wag is abuse, because the dog is happy...
Even if you tease your son or daughter in the same way, like my dad would, it would be frustrating sometimes when he wouldn't give, but there was always laughter. Still, I ought to report him to the council for such a travesty. |

So if you were a dog you'd prefer to do tricks for your master? I think the answer to that is no. Try to look at things from the perspective of the dog. |

Easier said than done...
But my answer would be yes, because I'd get food from it, and I'd have a none threatening master. I don't think dogs get embarrassed around me because I consider myself a higher being.
Dogs want food, leadership, companionship and food. |

Sure. I'd also prefer my boss to pay me and let me ride my bike and take up pottery instead of having to go into work. Such is life. It's not abuse. |

| That was not cute at all. What I saw was adults scaring the crap out of small children for their own amusement. If the kids are crying, it's not a joke. First there was that Hard Gay video of some guy air humping at kids, now it's people pretending to be zombies coming to eat them. What the hell are they doing to kids in Japan? |

Here's a Chinese video with a similar concept, which went "viral" in China because it's so adorable:

A couple of little girls are dressed up as police officers and are supposed to interview a "criminal" at the police station. Hilarity ensues. |
