I want to plug in my laptop I got in the US in Korea.
The AC adapter, part no. PA3715U-1ACA
model pa-1750-24
Input 100-240v 50-60hz 1.5A
Output 19V - 3.95A
What do I need to get?
I don't remember seeing any Toshiba stores in Seoul. I read in another thread that someone else had an HP and went to their store in Seoul, got what they needed for W8,000.
Help appreciated, thanks. |

You need a simple plug adapter or "universal power bar".
Both are available at any department store. Cost of the adapter ranges from 300-1500 won (depending on the store).
The power bar runs about 6000 won (accepts US 3-prong, US 2-prong, Korean (round 2-prong) and UK 3 post) and usually has 4-6 outlets and a 2 meter cord.

| you don't anything more fancy than a plug converter. Your laptop transformer clearly states it is capable of using upto 240 volt and Korean power is 220. Don't bother getting any power adapter or other crap. Just the tiny little $2 plug converter that takes it from a 2 vertical prong form to 2 rods |
