So out of nowhere last night my PS3 gives me the yellow light of death. In other words, I turn my PS3 on, but seconds later it shuts itself off after showing a yellow light. It goes without saying how bad this sucks. Also this was a brand new Slim PS3 model I bought from Yongsan.
Supposing I can't find my receipt to get a new unit, does anyone know any good repair services for ps3 in Yongsan?
Thanks in advance. |

You don't need the receipt. If you are not fluent in Korean get a korean friend to call Sony. I assume that this is a Korean PS3 slim. If it is call the Korean playstation A/S number. They will ask a few questions like where you bought it and they will ask for the very important serial number on the PS3. As long as its not past its warranty they will fix it for you. They will have you taekbae it to them and within two weeks you will get it back good as new.
I had to do this with my old phat last year. I thought it was broken but it turns out that it was just the hdmi cable. They sent it back to me all I had to pay for was taekbae and they even cleaned out the dust while they were at it. I had lost my receipt as well. Sony A/S in Korea rocks!!! |
