|
|
I just got a new job a month ago and today was the first payday and I noticed that unemplyment insurance was deducted from my check.
I previously worked for 2 years at another school and didn't pay for this. It isnt't written in my contract like pension, health insurance, and taxes are. Do I have to pay into this? Can I notify my boss that I don't want this?
I have a F2 visa and plan to be moving back to the US at the end of next year. I don't see myself needing to use it. IF something bad happens to my school I can always pick up another part time job.
Thanks for any help! |

I didn't know they had that here, but probably not. The whole point is for workers to pay now so they can collect later. |
