| That was not cute at all. What I saw was adults scaring the crap out of small children for their own amusement. If the kids are crying, it's not a joke. First there was that Hard Gay video of some guy air humping at kids, now it's people pretending to be zombies coming to eat them. What the hell are they doing to kids in Japan? |

Here's a Chinese video with a similar concept, which went "viral" in China because it's so adorable:

A couple of little girls are dressed up as police officers and are supposed to interview a "criminal" at the police station. Hilarity ensues. |
How is that supposed to be cute? I watched 2 minutes of it and thought it was terrible. The little girl is truly scared because she thinks she's been left alone with a dangerous criminal. Hilarious. I think people are forgetting that at that age, reality and fantasy are not necessarily separate. Monsters really do live under the bed and when an adult leaves you alone in a room with a criminal, it's not recognized as a joke. Any responsible adult would have put a stop to that particular "joke" as soon as the girl started crying. |

the kids knew it was just acting. that was part of the show. notice the boy is laughing and having a good time with it. |

| But the girl obviously wasn't. That's the point. Why would she be crying and asking the guy not to kill her if she knew it was acting? |

because she's a kid. someone posted on here that a teacher brought in a box of pizza and the class got excited, and when they opened the box, it was worksheets and a kid started crying. kids cry. they get caught up in the moment. maybe she's just sensitive.
my uncle used to flip his eyelids back and pretend he was gonna eat me. it freaked me the heck out but i turned out ok (i think)
i don't think there's any harm done. |
