My sandals have recently fallen apart and I'm off on a backpacking trip very soon. I'm willing to buy a pair of relatively sturdy backpacking/hiking sandals off of someone in Seoul with women's size 8.5 feet (255 mm).

I don't have women's size feet, but I do have women's size sandals.
The soles are designed for offroad use, and they have air cushioned heels.
They're Caterpillar brand, the heavy equipment company. They make tough stuff.
The footbeds are covered with leather and the leather straps are comfortably cushioned.
