By Decent artists though plese.
John Frusciante playing one of my favorite Nirvana Songs 'Lounge Act.'
Not a huge fan of the falsetto there, but nice accoustic guitar

Possibly more well-known than the Beatles' version: Joe Cocker's "With a Little Help from my Friends":

This song uses one of the instrumentals from 'A Clockwork Orange' and puts a battle hymn from a Roman legion over it.
Edit: I forgot to add the link.

Phish's cover of the Stones' "Loving Cup". No matter what version (there are hundreds), it always puts me in a great mood.
*Edit to say, if you love guitar solos..you'll enjoy this one. |

Back before they got super popular, Death Cab for Cutie did a very creative and trippy cover of "All is Full of Love" by Bjork, it sounds nothing like the original and it's one of my favorite covers ever. Best listened to with headphones on and the lights off. It's kinda "emo" so if you're not into that sort of thing then skip it but here you go

Their entire christmas album is actually just ridiculous. |
Funny story about CTDs. The lead singer guy, whose name I can't remember, married some woman from Argyle, a small Acadian community in southwest Nova Scotia that happens to be overloaded with artists and marijuana crops. He crashed his Cadillac in a ditch and was found with an ounce in his dash. Good thing the cops in Argyle probably smoke as much as he does. |
