Maybe you're more cut out for USC Online then. They have extensive online offerings.
Framingham State is a school I would never have considered back home, but it does offer full in-class instruction, albeit intensively, and it is respectable enough among the education community in New England.

There is one program in particular that has been around in Seoul for going on 10 years now. It offers a full scholarship to all admitted students in the MA programs.
They're called the International Graduate School of English http://www.igse.ac.kr/and they offer 2 MA degrees, one in ELT and one in ELT Materials Development.
They have a single small intake every year (50 students), and the MA is 2 years in length (full time). Entrance is competitive (ratio of maybe 5 - 6 applicants: 1 admitted) but in order to build a larger foreign student body they reserve up to 10% of places for non-Korean students.
They are fully accredited as a university here in Korea, and they have strong ties to UH at Manoa.
It is surprisingly not well-known within the expat community here, but check it out. |
