Biggie doesn't have a legacy. Fat bastard only put out two albums. Both were solid, and dude had skills, but he would have faded into obscurity if he hadn't been shot.

Depends on how you look at it. I tend to judge top rappers on how many classic(really top drawer) albums they made. Biggie has one, Nas has one, Jay Z has one(the blueprint imo). I don't really care how many they made total.

Nowadays, because of the massive amount of music rappers make due to mixtapes, I go more by their complete resume. For example, none of lil wayne albums are really top drawer(carter III is marginal) but two of his mixtapes (dedication II and Drought 3) are right there. Its also easier to see rappers evolve these days. A rapper like Curren$y has changed alot over several mixtapes before his first album. Lil wayne was mediocre but changed remarkeably over a crap load of mix tapes. Rappers nowadays get more practice in a way..

But yea Biggie has a legacy. He had a jackhammer like flow..which might have got tired over several albums but he is still one of the best ever.

Well yea everyone has their own take on it. My favorite rapper, Ghostface, imo has 2 in supreme clientele and fishscale.

Of course most of the rappers I like don't have classic albums and sometimes not even close. They either have great voice control and wordplay(lil wayne), are funny(devin the dude, quasimoto) or have great production continuity and a good sound (the clipse, currency). Although i'd say the Clipse have one classic too, come to think about it.

'Hell Hath No Fury' or 'Lord Willin'

I prefer Lord Willin, but Pushhhhhh is one of my favorites. I listen to a wide variety of hip-hop

Mos Def
Cudi
Cage
Slug
Eyedea
Sage
Wiz
Talib
Ghost for sure
Etc...

I don't think we've had any drag queens in mainstream music since Rupaul's Supermodel. So I guess that's pretty cool.

Though I have very strong feeling against auto-tune. :/

I always like to believe that people aren't *that stupid*, so maybe when she made that comment, it was before they produced the video and added that 10 seconds of the Korean guy at the begining and the hangul subtitiles.

Heh. I wonder if Will actually corrected her after the interview was done. Man, his face was pretty priceless.

For fun though, I'm gonna play devil's advocate. Maybe she didn't get a chance to see the MV with the final effects and stuff and didn't realize there was hanguel flying everyone around her. Her pink outfit does very much scream 'Evangelion Plug Suit'. Maybe it was supposed to intentionally be Japanese but they could only find a dude who spoke and wrote in Korean? Wink

In the end... I guess it's an English MV, with Japanese fashion and Korean subtitles?

See this is the kind of garbage I'm talking about.

If you dance to this, you're dancing to the downfall of civilization. You're dancing to not having a pot to piss in in a few years. Yeah celebrate, flaunt your vapid, shallow notion of how cool you are, dance away because you're gonna burn sucker!

What happened to Scarface? What happened to Ice T? This song ruined my day. This is the type of music that makes me want to run around in a mall with a sack of quarters and whack people in their stupid-ass heads.

It's music for girls and that's the only demographic that anyone markets to anymore. All these weak-ass men buy into it because they think they'll get some puss, but they won't because they're just like every other chump. Go buy some Axe spray too, freakin morons.
