BERRI TXARRAK was formed in 1994. Coming from the Basque Country, this band has released 5 albums with a constant evolution that mixes alternative rock, energy, punk, hardcore, metal and some amazing melodies. Singing in euskera (basque), BERRI TXARRAK has become one of the best rock bands within the Spanish State's panorama. Their last two albums, called "LIBRE (c)" and "JAIO.MUSIKA.HIL" were praised as best 'spanish' rock/hardcore albums in 2003 and 2005 by important magazines such as Rock Sound (now Rockzone) or Mondosonoro. "Libre (c)" featured a guest appearance by RISE AGAINST singer Tim Mc Ilrath. The band have toured all around the world visiting Germany, France, Austria, The Netherlands, Denmark, Switzerland, Spain, Catalonia, Galicia, Nicaragua, USA, Mexico, Japan (where they opened FUJIROCK FESTIVAL), Taiwan... etc. They have played with Rise Against, A Whilhelm Scream, Raised Fist, Sepultura, The bronx, Deftones, Billy Talent, Red Hot Chili Peppers and more.

The band's latest album, called "Payola", was recorded in April 2009 at Electrial Audio (Chicago, USA) by the great Steve Albini (Nirvana, Pixies, Neurosis...). "Payola" was released in CD and vinyl by Roadrunner Records.

'BERRI TXARRAK'는 1994년에 결성되었다. 스페인의 바스크 지방에서 오고 앨범 5장 발표했다. 그들의 앨범 스타일은 '록', '에너지', '펑키' '하드코어', '메탈', '신기한 멜로디가 'mix'된 음악이다. 스페인의 바스크어로 노래 부르고 스페인에서 유명한 밴드중 하나다. 'Rock Sound (Rockzone) {스페인 잡지}'가 마지막 2장의 앨범은 ("LIBRE (c)"하고"JAIO.MUSIKA.HIL") 제일 좋은 스페인 록 하드코어 앨범이라고 했다. 앨범 "Libre (c)"에는 RISE AGAINST의 보컬 'Tim Mc Ilrath' 피처링에 참여했다. 'BERRI TXARRAK'는 독일, 프랑스, 오스트리아, 네덜란드, 덴마크, 스위스, 스페인, 니카라과, 미국, 멕시코, 일본 (후지 록 페스티벌), 대만, 영국 등 여러나라에서 공연을 해왔다. 'Rise Against', 'A Whilhelm Scream', 'Raised Fist', 'Sepultura', 'The bronx', 'Deftones', 'Billy Talent', 'Red Hot Chili Peppers' 등 과 함께 공연했다.

2009년 4월에 녹음한 앨범 "Payola" 'Roadrunner Records'에서 발표했다. Steve Albini (Nirvana, Pixies, Neurosis 등) 제작했다. "Payola" 씨디하고 레코드로 발표됐다.
