I've heard the actual hotel rooms at the Hammy are a tad run-down and overpriced. Anyone ever stay there?

The jimjilbang would be interesting, especially on a Fri/Sat night. I'd try to sleep with one eye open, though.

Stay at a love hotel by the express bus terminal. 60-80 grand a night and nice. Only a man won cab ride as well.

Hamilton Hotel is $140 for a shabby room (really - I took a look, the rooms are scuffed and tired)
The Lotte Castle Hotel in Mapo-dong is $115 for a bright, well kept modern room (no breakfast, though)

If you like Itaewon, then HH is in the perfect location, but it really isn't worth the money.

hotel d'oro is pretty good, i've stayed there a couple times... 80,000 won for a nice room... great location... we've walked in both times and not needed a reservation.
