Get Ready For The Legal Skirmishes Over LimeWire Damages

These guys don't seem to get it. Like after the death of Napster, whenever they kill one of these services, someone comes out with an even better one.

Judge Wood even suggests the company is responsible, in part, towards a generational change in attitude towards the value of music: As a result of LimeWires inducement, generations of potential purchasers of plaintiffs products have instead grown up accustomed to downloading music for free

Congratulations Limewire, you're been convicted of corrupting the nation's youth.

^ How selective of him to ignore Napster and all the other file-sharing services. So Limewire is blamed because they did it better than everyone else. I guess the message is if you rae going to do something, don't do it well.

That's just a player, right? You can't search for music and software on it, can you?

If one wanted to carry on downloading (and I don't) what would be the thing to replace Limewire with? Just in case I change my mind.

Thanks. What holds me back is that my last experience with connecting up cost me my entire hard drive. The screen said "Contact your vendor".

With everything I lost I aged 5 years. No, more.
