So I'm trying to learn banmal (반말) and need a bit of help. I am getting fairly good at normal Korean, but some of the things people my age do to words leaves me scratching my head and feeling like I never studied at all.

Could someone let me send them a couple sentences for them to translate via PM and then discuss? I promise they should be a bit funny as K-girls made them for me!

Mostly don't say "yo" at the end of your verbs, throw in a "ra" instead for extra rudeness. Say "ya" a lot. Juseyo is now just "jo". Throw in some ssibals, byeongshins, dakchos and shipsekkis for good measure.

I know about the yo, it's the smashing of words together that confuses me.

Post them in the Q&A sticky in General Discussion. They'll be translated in no time.
