Trying to help a friend who was victim to a very serious crime. Need the advice/services of a fluent, English speaking lawyer. Ideally someone experienced in criminal prosecution, victims' rights type of stuff.
Any recommendations and contact info would be great. PM is OK too.
Thank you. |

There is an organization called the Korea Crime Victim Center
I think this is their website
http://www.kcvc.net/
To receive assistance as a crime victim, it has to be determined by the prosecutor office that you are the victim of a crime.
You can get a free legal consultation at the Korea Bar Association and at Seoul Global Center.
I don't recommend that you pay millions of won to retain the services of a lawyer because the chances are that they will take your money and will not do anything for you.
The USA embassy will send you a file with a list of lawyers if you call them at: (02) 397-4114. |

No need to call. There is a PDF listing on this US Embassy page. |
