I'm wondering if there are any teachers here who have managed to obtain an E2 visa this past year notwithstanding a minor criminal record: misdemeanor or summary conviction. I was granted an E2 visa twice over a year ago in spite of my $50 fine for Possession of Marijuana under $5 back in 1974. I'm thinking of returning to Korea by March, and would like to know if the feds are just as flexible as they were with me back in 2008-9. If there are any such teachers, who were your recruiting agencies, so that I can apply through them? Some recruiters advertise "Must have no criminal record." Thanks!  |
