Soju is bad?

I like it. It's a matter of taste.

It tastes like nail polish remover and makes me feel like I have a giant butcher knife stabbing me in the head the next morning. I used to drink it with friends but only mixed with something else. Now I just avoid it altogether. Personally, I think anything that can be used to polish metal and take lipstick out of laundry should not be consumed by anyone.

I remember years ago, I watched some TV program saying a Korean old lady mistook the waste oil from a boiler (her son-in-law was a technician) for the medicinal alcohol (Herbal soju extract) and drank two big bottles of them with her friends,as a result she died and the others went to hospital.

The TV program later did an experiment in public, which turned out most Koreans couldnt tell the differece between the boiler waste oil and the medicinal soju.

Just by imagining how people can't tell the difference of a poinson from a drink makes me NOT want to drink soju at all.
