| I'm looking to find some of the really cool Korean toys and gadgets to send back to my 8 year old niece and my 10 year old nephew. What are the toys that are all the kids raving about here? |

If it is in your budget get them each a nintendo ds with an R4 chip loaded up with all the hottest games. Of course you can get R4 chips over the internet but they will probably be the only kids their age who have one.
If you want something cheaper hit up a stationary store and get them some of the funky pens and pencils they have here. Thet hace acupressure pens, pens that write in invisible ink with ultraviolet lights and stuff like that. They may also like all the poop inspired stuff they have here. |

| The Korean version of jacks? They have some colorful plastic thingies, they throw one up in the air and pick up the ones on the table. I have no idea what it's called but I'm sure you can find it in any stationary store or 1000won store |

I think the jacks are called gong-gi.
Pencils, pencil boxes, hair elastics, character socks, and candy have worked well for me. The BANC tee I sent was a big hit, too. |

| Those little re-usable hand warmers are good. Usually 500-1000 won each, decorated in all sorts of ways, often to look like food packages like cereal or ramen. |

If they're into Lego, the Korean version, Oxford is actually quite good. Compatible with real Lego and of very high quality. Among adult collectors it's the only clone brand to generally be respected for it's quality.
They have an excellent military line, and Hello Kitty line. Neither of which Lego has.
Prices are low compared to Lego with sets of equal size going for 1/3-1/2 the price of what you'd pay for Lego. |
