By default I'm told of things at the very last minute so asking for a year-long commitment by Nov. 4 is a bit funny.

Yeah, no questionnaire here either, though I did get the official English version.

When you think about it the new contract wouldn't start for 4 months - a bit longer if you took the re-signing time off, so that's a pretty good stretch of time. I wonder how many contract signers simply change their minds and contracts fall through with so much time left.
