				| I'm heading up to Seoul for a weekend shopping trip to stock up on winter essentials (along with some purely frivolous purchases). Any tips on where to go? I have no winter things, so I'm starting from zero. Coats? Jackets? Pants? Please help me. | |

				| For gloves, hats, scarves I suggest street shopping in Myeongdong or Sinchon. I've seen tons.
H&M has good winter basics in Myeongdong at reasonable prices.

				| I second H&M in Myeongdong. There are actually two of them, relatively close to each other. The one on the same street as CGV just off the street with the other seems to have a little bit better selection of mens winter jackets. There's also Giordano and UniQlo. I actually bought a jacket at H&M then went to Dongdaemun and found a jacket I liked a little more for a better price, but if you are anywhere around 6ft or taller then your best bet is Myeongdong. | |

I'm sorry, but this is just an ignorant comment. This is a massive city with thousands and thousands of stores that mostly serve a smaller sized customer base than most westerners. I wouldn't even bother with responding, but this is not the first ***hole comment I've seen from you.

				| Express Bus Terminal.
There is a consigment shop downstairs on the second level.

I* think it might only be mainly just womans' clothes, although
I do briefly remember seeing some really large- sized darker jackets that could have been ok for a man.

 Might wanna check it out

				| In US sizes, I'm a 14 for pants and Large for shirts. Does H&M have this?
Also, I heard there are good places for used clothing. Any ideas where these places might be? I'd prefer to buy used winter boots and a used coat, as those are the priciest items I need.

				| There is a chain of second-hand shops called "The Beautiful Store." Just google them for a location near you. Actually, here's a link:
 http://www.korea4expats.com/service-Beautiful-Store-Resale-Shop-Seoul-769.html

I had to buy a whole new wardrobe this year because I lost weight. During the summer, I bought almost all of my clothes at H&M in Myeongdong, and there is also Zara's, but it is pricey. These are the best bets for larger sizes.

There are also some good underground shops in almost every neighborhood, and I recently did some good winter shopping there (yesterday and today as a matter of fact). The prices are great there for new stuff, but the problem will always be size. Even at a smaller size, I still have problems with pants in Asia, because the body types and the way the pants are designed are not for my body type (s-curve butt, rather than flat, with no hips).

I'm not going to lie: finding pants that fit well will be a nightmare, even at H&M (maybe less so, but not as much choice). Learn to love the skirt, with super warm tights (but that will be another size issue).

 If you can, order online.

				| If you go to the non-Western brand shops at Lotte Department stores the prices aren't too bad. | |

				| I've found Lotte a bit on the pricey side. The Korean clothes markets and stores down.town etc don't even try to market anything above a uk 12 and if you use non-korean clothing sites and get them delivered. the immigration slap you with an heafty tax. one word a little annoying. I've taken to ordering online, getting it delivered to my mum's and having her deliver to me. It worked out a lot cheaper than the 100,000 won tax I'd paid previously | |

I don't know where all the extra full stops came from in that post? bad grammar aside, them full stops are not mine.
