First, from my understanding, when entering Korea there is a requirement for completing a health examination. If anyone who has been through an examination would be willing to share their experience of what goes on and what tests are done, I would appreciate it!
Second, I have a rather unusual question. I have been donating plasma for a while now, and have somewhat noticeable "needle marks" or "tracks" from the process. My concern is that upon entering Korea and having blood samples taken, concerns will be brought up about the marks and drug usage. If I have tested negative for illegal substances and given an explanation as to why I have the marks, is it likely that they will accept my word?
Thanks for your input,

They will draw blood.
You might want to let them take the blood first. If they ask why you have tracks, tell them you donated blood alot.
They will let the test determine things anyway. If your blood/urine is clean it shouldn't be an issue. |

They will have you stand on a scale that measures your height and weight. They will have a eye test and a hearing test. Then they will do a chest X-ray and take a blood and urine sample from you. They will also measure your blood pressure. All told it should take no more than an hour or so. You should get the results within 1-2 weeks.
As for your second question it shouldn't be a problem so long as no illegal substances are found. I wouldn't say anything unless specifically questioned. |
