I downloaded a program called "Disk Cleaner". It cleans out just about every accumulated file on your computer, especialy Internet Explorer files such as URLs, history, images etc. I use this everytime I am finished for the day. Am I being paranoid or is this standard?

I don't look at shit I'm not supposed to view at work.

I just browse clothing sites, espn, this site, and my email.

My buddy works for a CDI branch where a teacher got fired because they found out he was looking at porn on his school-supplied laptop in the classroom. Maybe FDNY was that teacher.

What you geniuses don't seem to realize is that if you do an image search and some questionable images appear on the screen, the computer saves ALL those images in a cache, even if you don't click on them. Someone looking in this folder can see images that you never asked for and didn't click on. Also people can see your private email address left over in Hotmail, or many times Facebook will not completely log you out.

PS: What is ^^^ ? Some kind of retard secret code I'm not privy to?

That seems paranoid to me...unless you are looking at things that you shouldn't be...and you know that a good computer forensic person can still recover things that have been wiped off of the average computer, don't you?

I keep it professional, but my school admin has covered itself with some sort of net nanny program that won't even allow access to Craigslist. This doesn't bother me. I can look for sports equipment on my own time.

I probably should dl this software. I often come across lots of NSFW stuff on Google Images alone.

Excellent point. For this, you can have Firefox clear your cache (and history and cookies) every time you close the program.

Firefox is for hippies. I've never used it and never will.

What I was thinking. I mean, surely there is no secret code that this retard doesn't know about.

Razz j/k

Seriously, those images that remain on your drive are just thumbnails and it is clear that you were not 'viewing' them.

Paranoid and quite defensive. You have to admit that your behavior looks suspicious. Heck, I don't even know why you would bother posting about this....do what you like.
