OK this sounds like it's too good to be true but I had to look into it. Someone was telling me that after you have a year of experience of working in Korea behind you, you can work in Noksapyeong (right next to Itaewon) M-F from 1-5 teaching and get paid 2.2. 20 hours a week while keeping your full time salary. Apparently you teach 4 classes a day in a row without out any breaks where you sit around doing nothing like at most hagwons. Instead of the employer paying for your apartment you share a house with other foreigners. Does anyone know any more about this? |

Sounds like an after-school program to me.
My colleague does a 130-530 (5 ,45 min classes) and gets 2.7. He is also on an E-2 and has permission to work a second job. However, he does say the kids are little monsters. |

I work 1-4.30 (4 45 min classes) and get paid 3 (including housing).
They are just after-school programmes.
Just have to be in the right place at the right time or know someone |

You can get your own health insurance if you pay for it, and it'd be worth it if you're making decent cash for a few hours work in the afternoon. |
