is it possible to make the privacy setting like the previous EPIK FALL 2010 group
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=118123564877899
in their settings, you can't even see who the members are when requesting to join the group
just looking out for those who want it to be in total stealth mode |

| Sorry about this gugu, but I've tried everything and if the group is made secret you can't post a link to it, so I've had to set it to closed. For some reason the last EPIK batch could set a link to their group so it must be something new from facebook. |

So I've been reading the EPIK August 2010 posts to see what we're in for. EPIK was super slow during the last round so we're probably in for a long, frustrating journey.
I'm thinking now that if we compare things to the fall 2010 intake, we may not get our contracts until early to mid January. I was hoping for December. I'm taking a cruise for my graduation from Jan 9-16. I'm thinking that if I'm offered a contract, it will probably come sometime while I'm gone. |

| I'm curious: They've said that we won't know where we're placed until we get there. Will we at least know what POE/MOE we're under when get the contract? |

Yes we will, because the contract is drawn up by the POE |

| Yeah, you will know the province, but you just won't know which city or grade level until the last day of orientation (from what I understand). |

| We didn't even know the city until we got to the buses and had to figure out which one. Only then did I learn city and school. When I met my co-teacher I finally got grade-level. |

I just got word that I passed my interview.
My preferences are Daegu, Gyeongbuk, Daejeon
Have we found out a way for the members of the facebook group to be invisible? |

Congratulations!
I don't think there is a way unless we close the group off to new members. If you're worried about privacy, you could create a new facebook account that doesn't share any of your personal information. Or I think you can change your own facebook privacy settings to hide your name from groups. |

How many of you guys have, or are planning to complete a 100 hour TEFL certification?
I just registered for one today. I was given a Proof of Enrollment sheet from EPIK that is supposed to be written and signed by the TEFL institute and then I believe turned in with my documents.
However, it will take probably a week before I can get that from the TEFL institute.
Did you guys turn in a proof of enrollment sheet? |

| it was suggested by the EPIK interviewer that i take one. I am guessing the suggesting part is pretty much the same as saying "take it". How did you go about finding the best one? i wanted to start looking online for one. I think it only has to be 100 hours or more right? |
