The U.S. occupied by [North] Korea? What? Really weird and impossible concept.
Shocked Rolling Eyes

Why not China? I think that actually might be a possible scenario in the not too far future, if the U.S. and China have a big falling out.

It's possible. if America puts itself into more serious debt with China , the Chinese will demand payment or they might kick out all America businesses from China and stop exporting there, then threaten an Attack. America couldnt afford a war. they are already spread out to far and running out of money. If China decided to attack USA, what's to stop North Korea from Attacking the South. perfect time to do it, when the US is in the biggest war it has ever been in, and I doubt very much they would get much supporters as all the countries need China for economic growth. I also believe many countries wouldn't mind seeing America burn.
the Japanese, French, Germans, south America etc..

ROFL the funniest part is China stopping exports to the US. If China even nudged a pinkie towards US, inc nukes from every other nation on the planet. The US is the economic backbone of the entire world bromosapian.

I'm actually really excited for this game. I love good future fiction warfare games and I quite enjoyed Modern Warfare 2. Also, one of the contributing writers, John Milius, does tend to craft pretty awesome stories that I like.

I just hope the single player campaign is much longer than MW 2. I want an actual future fiction FPS game that lasts as long as Dragon Age or Fallout, I tend to really enjoy video games when they provide a lengthy story rather than MW2's 8 hours of campaign play, which was great, just far too short.

For those of you who haven't, I really suggest reading The Next 100 Years by George Friedman. It has chapters devoted to discussing why China isn't so much of a superpower as people tend to believe it is. Interesting stuff.

This may not make it to Korea in an official capacity...the original Mercenaries did not due to the content.

This was the debut trailer for the game released at last years E3. Really engaged me in the fiction. Just a trailer, but if the rest of the game can manage half that much conviction, I'm in.

I'm pretty sure that North Korea plays the role of China in this game. It's much easier to release a game where the "evil" comes from a country that we are allowed to call "evil" than from a country that has a lot more actual connections with the rest of the world.

I'm guessing this is for Homefront. Still waiting for a torrent for this - but it looks like a pretty fun game either way. Laughing
