They're lying to you.

gyopos make bank over here and many jobs want them becuase there is no VISA hassles like other foreigners on an e-2 which is VERY limited.

I've seen some really stupid, criminal, or downright mentally insane gyopos get work here easily in English....

If anything, I'd say the opposite is true.....easier to get work on an F-4.

If your asian on an e-2....yeah, your gonna get screwed or ignored...

If your worried about money, your extended korean family will likely be throwing privates at you if you aren't the worst teacher on earth. So just getting a job in the first place is a priority long as it doesn't suck.

Some are suggesting corporate out the gate.....if your here just for fun, an easy job, and money, I'd save the corporate for later unless you looking avoid the three above.....Korean companies don't care if your American...you look korean, you work like a korean.
