Hello everyone!
This might be abit off topic, but I hope I can still find help.

I speak english very well, but im not a native speaker, and I dont got a degree.

I got the opportunity to go to Yonsei Language institute in Seoul to learn korean, and I'm wondering abit of my possibilities to work in korea after my education. Since it will cost me quite alot, I would like to be able to get use my education once it's done, and not just go home to my old country with a big debt.

There is no possibility of you working here legally. As a teacher anyway.

Well we could put her in a factory. I know many Vietnamese are making products for the Koreans. Or maybe mail order bride.

There is no chance of legal work as a teacher without a passport from one of the "approved 7" Anglophone countries AND a degree.

You CAN get work after you complete your language training in the industrial or farming sectors.

Contact the Seoul migrants help center for more information.

Still, it's an interesting topic albeit from a person with questionable qualification. People with F-4 visa can work part-times without legal complications... might be nice to know what realistic options you have instead of teaching more as part times. Freelancing? Possibly some exposure to Korean media? (Probably pushing it... I'm sure it's oversaturated industry sector) Any ideas? It'd be nice to have a different part time... makes your life a little more interesting and all that jazz.

Doesn't the title say 'other than teaching'? Obviously this person is not looking to be a teacher.

I don`t think he/she is looking to be a teacher anyway.

I used to study at Sogang and have known several students who have found work following their language studies. It is not `impossible`. I gather it is the same at Yonsei FLS.....just keep an eye out on the notices/notice boards. Companies on occasion recruit from these schools , though more are geared towards the graduate students. If however your Korean language ability is high enough (level 5 or 6) and you have a skill/in demand native language it`s certainly possible.

OP...what is your nationality?
