I was sorely disappointed with Medal of Honor. I played competitively for COD MW, but took a break from MP with COD MW2. But i want to get back into it for Black Ops. Any fellow COD players looking to play Black Ops? GameServers is handling dedicated servers, i remember them from my America's Army 1.6 - 2.1 days - if there's enough people interested we could get a Vent Channel and a ranked dedicated server.

Dude FPS games like COD nothing but PC. I hate FPS games on console, the controls are �bergay. I have a PS3 but mostly it's adventure games like GoW or SW Force Unleashed or Assassins Creed, FIFA 11... |

using a keyboard is uber gay too. Uncomfortable as hell.
Most of my friends play on x box live, so thats where I go. Unfortunately I don't wanna waste hours of my life on this game like I did with cod4 and mw2. |

How is a keyboard "uncomfortable"?? Your fingers are naturally on the keyboard just one key over for WASD position, thumb for spacebar. Anyone that has used a computer and can type is familiar with this... Using a mouse for FPS games you have much better control and accuracy. As far as wasting your life...well can't argue with that. If i play a game i like to play it enough to hold my own and be good at it. Otherwise i don't play at all...or just play the SP. That's a good way to limit my time. Once you hit up MP that's a sinkhole of time. |

Are the PC version of the games different than the console versions?
I know with some companies (EA), the PC version of games suck compared to the console ones. |

That usually happens when you do game ports and the native platform is the console. COD native platform is the PC, so if anything the console versions are gonna be the ones suffering but with a huge title like this i doubt there will be many discrepancies. |

Huge competitive gamer here
saw the black ops thread and had to jump in  .
this is only for MP as singleplayer does not have the same issues
firstly if any of you pc guys who are playing online are experiencing very bad lag. The best fix is to copy your cod4 config across into your Black ops players folder, got a huge fps boost, if you dont know how to do this then wait for weekend as patches are soon to be released.
Config copy seems to be the best fix as treyarch messed up with some gameplay coding.
If you don have a config to copy across i have been telling people to get
a cofing from Reason Gaming website and copying Lighters config (people have had good results)
hope this helps anyone grinding their teeth at the lag like i did.
Also im looking for English speaking players on steam for some co-op fun steam name: bigfourie
PS: FPS on console is like playing cricket with a baseball bat |
