is it true that from september 1st - immigration are keeping diplomas when you apply for a n E-2 visa ????

no. they aren't even accepting original diplomas.

i'm confused

is the case now they don't want originals because they are keeping them ??

ergo if they have someones original - they would take a copy in exchange for the original back ?

That keeps changing doesn't it. First they want the original, then a certified one, then the original. They keep going back and forth. I wish they could make up their minds.

They did - use a copy with an apostille affixed (or embassy certified if you are Canadian) and the nonsense stops.
