Ha, ha, Koveras, I know you're not a Communist, so are you a non-Catholic Distributist? |

| Actually, I am Catholic. As for distributivism, I agree with the general idea of it, but the egalitarian prejudice is too strong in its modern spokesmen. |

I hated how these questions were worded. Too many had absolutes, too many had implied judgment values.
For example this one- Mothers can have careers but their first duty is to be homemakers.
I strongly agree.
However I also think that Fathers can have careers but their first duty is to be homemakers.
A parent's first duty is to the needs of their family and household, whatever that may be.
But I have the feeling that this question is going to lump me into the Bigoted Fundamentalist category.
Or take this one-
"No broadcasting institution, however independent its content, should receive public funding."
Does this mean NPR or C-SPAN or Uncle Joe Stalin's Home & Gulag Channel? Definately agree for Uncle Joe, but I don't see anything wrong with Live broadcasts of the Senate or the House or Prime Minister's questions. NPR as long as they aren't pushing an agenda beyond please send money for a totebag is fine with me too. I get a little uncomfortable with its 'left-leaning stance' but this is made up for with Bill Monroe for Breakfast, the Arkansas Traveler, A Prarie Home Companion, Car Talk, Wait Wait Don't Tell Me, Marketplace, the BBC,a nd the fact that the listener is expected to be a reasonably educated adult.
Well maybe it won't make me a fundie....

The fact that Traditional Catholics wind up in the same quadrant as Stalin sums up the accuracy of this test for me. |

It makes sense. Republicans would be in the same block as Hitler, doesn't mean the Republicans are fascists. It doesn't rank cruelty and willingness to shed human life, nor does it reflect religious or cultural biases. Its a political poll. |

I guess I don't understand politics and economics as seperate from morality, religion, and culture. |
