Ok...my friend called immigration for me today. They said that since I'm on an F2 I don't need my degree apostilled OR a CRC. Is this true? Don't they want to see if my degree is legit? (Even though the apostille process is bogus.) |

As a Korean you don't need a degree to be an ESL worker. Having an F-2 effectively puts you in the same boat as Korean nationals. Hence, no CBC or related crap. |

You are on an F2. Immigration is no longer concerned about your employment status (your employer is no longer your sponsor) as long as your employment is legal.
(your wife is your sponsor so don't get her p-o-ed at you.)
On the flip side - your employer MIGHT ask for them anyway (they certainly will if you apply to work for a public school or government program).
