I'm looking to pick up a modded Xbox 360 sometimes soon, as my old one recently red ringed on me. Is there any place in Busan that sells them? I really don't want to make the trek all the way up to Seoul. I'm looking for one that has English menus, and will play both legitimate and copied games from North America. |

Most likely the only way you'll get an American 360 is if someone who brought one here is selling it. A lot of 360 games are region-free, but definitely not all. You can play EA's NHL on a Korean bought 360, but you will only be able to play the '07 one...all the newer ones are region locked to US. So, long story, short, check in Seo-myeon(specifically the Bujeon underground shopping arcade). You can fairly easily get a modded KOREAN 360 there. Check the region coding on what games you like to play the most first to determine if it's worth your while. You are able to switch the language and locale on NTSC-J(Korean bought) 360s easily(no modding involved...just flip through the menus and change it...have the shop set it to English for you when you pick it up). |

Can this not be done with native Korean systems? |

yes. at least my old one was no problem. my newer US one can also be changed to Korean if I wanted to do so. i don't know about the slims as i've not had one, and i still think the hack is not publically available for them yet anyway. |
