It's from the US, unlocked. It's in really good shape still. Will work with SK I assume, and since it was a T-mobile phone (2100 mhz 3g band) 3g should work here too.

I live/work in Yeoksam dong so if you want to check it out we can meet up anytime.

Give me a good offer for it.

I don't want to crap all over your sale, but I want to point out to potential buyers that this will almost certainly NOT WORK in South Korea (unless you pay to have it "certified").

I need an SK Telecom phone soon.
My SK Telecom phone crashed and burned today.
It literally started sparking and burning until I turned it off.
A S center said it needs a replacement monitor @ 100,000 won.

Your phone seems like a nice phone, but as there is doubt if it will operate here, this is my proposal:
We agree on a price to be paid AFTER I register it with SK telecom and find it to be operational.
How about that? Assuming could make an ass out of u and me.

It's a GREAT phone.

BUT I had to pay 306,000 won to have it 'certified' for the 'superior' Korean network.

It's a stupid and unfortunate hiccup to get this phone working.

Thanks for the input, vm. In this case, I'm gonna put that kind of money down on a Galaxy Tab pre-order.

Speaking of Galaxy Tab, it is OK to bring one from USA and swap out the sim card? Thats what people are doing with iPads.

Any telecommunications product purchased outside of Korea will require the "certification." You cannot just swap sim cards in an iPhone, iPad, Galaxy S, Galaxy Tab, or any other device.

Thats interesting, it looks like people are buying iPads that were imported from USA, and I heard you could change sim cards, so it seemed like a situation where you could just insert a new sim card and be good to go.
