This guy used $6 million that he raised himself to make this movie. He's the writer, producer, director, executive producer and starring actor. His name is Tommy Wiseau and he refuses to tell anybody where he's from. His last name is French, but he doesn't sound French to me. He sounds like he might be from somewhere in the Balkans. Any experts here?

By the way, who's seen this movie LOL

Here's a clip from it:

Just for a giggle, here are some more funny scenes from this great movie LOL. It's called 'The Room'.

Wiseau grew up in New Orleans,[4] and lived in France "a long time ago".[5] He moved back and forth between the United States and Europe throughout his life,

that explains his accent, so I guess that you americans are searching in the wrong place for Osama, cos he is back home in cali

LOL no, this guy really tried to make a serious drama- he even sent it in for an Oscar consideration. The movie (and him) became a huge laughingstock and now it's a cult hit because it's so bad, it's good. It has screenings in cities all over the world and Tommy Wiseau himself sometimes shows up to answer questions. At least he's a good sport about the whole thing.

How does that figure into being American? Oh, I forgot, we're the only country that botches the image of citizens of other nationalities Rolling Eyes

I I didn't know any better, I would say you play out old stereotypes.
