I could download and burn everything they've ever recorded and sell the discs to you.

I bought OK Computer here in Seoul. I guess I could sell it to you since I don't really listen to it. Hardly worth all the trouble for one CD though. I'm sure you can find it in a shop somewhere.
Actually, I wonder what the verdict is on that album 13 years on. I bought it because I had never listened to the whole thing before, and I didn't feel like I had missed anything after I finally heard it.
The singles have all been thrashed, and the rest of the album is not particularly memorable. The Bends was better.
So what does that leave? Kid A, Amnesiac, Hail to the Thief? Not up to the same standard I would have thought.
In Rainbows? A proper physical CD of In Rainbows might be worth having because most people probably downloaded it. I've never heard the album though. |

You probably feel like you didn't miss much because it's all been reused by other bands and "that" Radiohead sound - '95-'97 - became very common. Plus, with the ease of computer generated sounds these days the soundscapes on the album mightn't seem as impressive.
I guess it's fair to say, like all the other "greatest" albums, it's overated. But don't sell it.
OP, sorry I have nothing for you. Mp3s only. |

| There are a couple of record shops in Hongdae you could try. One shop is on the main strip, and the other is on the same road as the Uni, but heading towards Sinchon. However, the shops are face-meltingly expensive! |

Yeah, good point Derbot. That sound did become very popular.
ok, OP, I'm not selling my copy of OK Computer!
But if you find one of those neighbourhood music stores, the ones that sell guitars and CDs, they should have a copy of it.
For the rest of the albums I guess either a specialist Hongdae retailer or Amazon are your only choices. |
