PS in Korea doesn't start new term till March. Orientation is the first week of March. You should have already applied by now. You better get on the ball.

If you're looking for public school in Seoul, you should apply with EPIK/SMOE before it closes.

If you're cool with Gyeonggi-do, then try GEPIK. There are a lot of recruiters who hire for them all year round...I've seen quite a few lately.

With the market as it is though, I'm not sure you could find one before mid December.

Just go straight through the EPIK program itself. They will lwt you know if yuou're too late or not

It cuts out all the crap of using middlemen and they'll be able to tell you directley anything you want to know. It also kind of makes you look more adult and mature, which can't hurt either.

For instance, when I went through EPIK I was given far more information regarding the Orientation, school system and most importantly pay scales than anyone who had gone through a recruiter

Recruiters are just like second hand car salesmen but with less ethnics, scruples and morals. Oh... but they do give out a tee-shirts, so if you need a tee-shirt then by all means go through a recruiter

Yes, disregard us. It only pertains to the job that you have/or trying to get.

Agreed. However, an innate knowledge of the language is expected. Just because you don't have to explain the difference between an adjective and an adverb doesn't mean that you can be ignorant of it and it certainly doesn't excuse you from not writing properly.

Possible BUT HIGHLY UNLIKELY since the school year effectively ends in December and the new school year starts March 2.
