Looks like they are on pre-order right now in Korea. Various websites like Interpark and gmarket have sellers offering it.

I've seen some reviews for it. Looks pretty sweet. I had the Wii before, and my friend has the Playstion Motion. The Kinect looks sweet comparatively.

I'm tempted to buy one. I read that the Kinect IS region locked. For example, North American Kinect will not recognize other languages like French, Korean, Japanese.

I have a Korean 360, so I wonder if the Korean Kinect will only recognize Korean voice commands....

How stupid would that be? I swear these wigs at corporate are so out of touch it's like they're aliens. Region locked hardware now? They are selling the Kinect at ~100 dollars profit already. Just wanna keep their prices locked in certain regions.

By the way. Kinect is getting pretty base reviews. Lag. They removed the dedicated processor from the prototype models and now the camera requires console processors to do its work, meaning there are less resources for the graphics, physic and AI. It does look pretty sweet to snowboard in your living room though... gotta convince me with more than 1 game. I'll wait.

I'm interested in getting the Kinect eventually but it looks too first generation at this point. I'll be really amazed when they bring some Minority Report style full body multi-touch and let me play Assassin's Creed or use a baseball bat for something other than baseball...perhaps, GTA.

Currently, there's just not that much that looks interesting to me for the Kinect. Sports look okay but I'm sure the neighbor below would go nuts hearing me jump up and down, and I'm sure I'd probably injure someone like this dude: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ux1FZpPKh20

Well, I bit the bullet, ate my words, and bought a Kinect today at HomePlus. I think I was the first one to buy it at the store and it was a totally spontaneous purchase along the lines of "Oh wow, they have a Kinect...hmm, why not?". Also picked up Dance Central.

Only played it for an hour or so but the games have all been in English and the setup was in English too. Kinect Adventure lists Korean on the box but it's worked fine in English. FWIW, my Xbox is a Korean Region one so I have no idea if the Korean Kinect would work with a non Korean 360.

I must say it's quite fun and my girlfriend is really impressed with it. However, I doubt our downstairs neighbors will be since there is a lot of damn jumping involved in it.

I got one too

Love it has so much potential, esp if you could use props.

Imagine tracing out spells, using swords, or guns.

Current games work with a modded box but say good bye to fable 3 Crying or Very sad
