I am an American citizen teaching in Korea for only one year.

I do not want to pay American taxes on the money I make in Korea.

Do I need to fill out form 8802 or 2555? Or do I not need to fill out anything at all?

Do a 2555 if you worked the entire tax year abroad. If you worked any amount of time in the US then you need to include a 1040 as well.

You should do an 8802 for the 2-year tax exemption I believe.
