Seriously, get off your high horses. This guy's target audience is YOUNG children. This is the same kind of stuff they put on Sesame Street. Do you see anyone hating on Cookie Monster for teaching the letter C???
In terms of actual teaching. This guy is spot on in meeting children in their Zone of Proximal Development. Vygotsky anyone?!?! |
This, absolutely.
You wouldn't have to act like Cookie Monster or whatever... more like when Jack Black did a guest spot on Sesame Street. Some of the stuff on Kid's English TV here is pretty wild, though... that whole ABC bakery thing I don't think I would do, but yeah, I would definitely show enthusiasm for the letter C for the right amount of money. |

I think its great. Not the job but what he is doing. I mean he is obvoiusly acting, just because Sir Anthony Hopkins was a crazy, cannibal Hannibal doesn't make him fantastic in real life! (I loved Hannibal)
Anyways you get the drift. I think its great what he is doing and he is obviously marketing himself very well.
Would I take the job? Hell no. Hahaha jokes. Looks interesting but you might go brain dead after a season or two. |
