quick question..
im from the states and i have a bachelor's in english and a master's in elementary education..i'm a certified/licensed teacher of grades K-5 and middle school lang arts.
i dont have "real" classroom teachign experience stateside.. i did student teaching for a year then opted to come to korea to work for SMOE. i've been with smoe for two years.
can someone with my background get an international job? ive done research but they all seem to require 2 years of classroom experience, although they don't specifically say it has to be in a western setting.
if anyone with experience can help, would be greatly appreciated~ |

I should think that you would have a decent chance of being able to get a job at one of the less reputable international schools. And of course, after you get the experience at a "bad" international school, then you can move on to better international schools. |
