for you F visa holders....did you have to still go through the CRC check with K.A.S.E?

Or is it not needed (like hagwons)?

Are you teaching from KASE's curriculum or are you making your own? If you have to make your own it could be good. Just make sure KASE is willing to pay for some of the materials. If they provide them, then ask to see some of the lessons before you commit. As mentioned in 1, there was a 4th manager in my case. They decided to provide a curriculum but the books all had black and white photos from the 80's.


Did you have any problems with Okey Dokey when it came to getting your severence pay and money for your flight home?

Were you based in or near Bucheon?

I just read your post, I didn't know this thread was still alive.

I did live in Bucheon, but I worked near the airport (so there was a long commute). I didn't stick around long enough to be entitled to this stuff. A 4th manager and I came to a disagreement, they gave me a parting offer, I took it and left.

I wouldn't be surprised if they withheld airfare or severance. Not a nice bunch of people.

They seem like a joke company who don't pay what they promise.

All managers were female when I was there. I had no problems with managers 1-3. The 4th was a friggin witch. That's when I left. I outlined the details in your AKYEC thread.
