Sorry if its been asked before, but where can I buy a bed?

I've only been in Korea for a few weeks and the only place I've seen with beds have been department stores. I live in Hapjeong btw. The beds at dept stores are way too expensive, since I'll only be here a year.

My friend told me gmarket, but not sure if i want to order a bed off the internet...

thanks

I bought my bed off Gmarket, and it's fine. It was about W90,000

You will need to get a Korean to help you order and arrange a delivery time though.

If you go to Ahyeon Station on Line 2 (the next one after Ewha University - so 4 stops from Hapjeong), come out exit 2 and go into the side streets on your left. That area is known as Ahyeon Furniture Town or something like that. Lots of furniture stores. They will deliver.

A couple weeks ago I ordered a double bed online from Gmarket.com and it's great. Only cost 100,000 for the mattress and frame and it's comfortable.

Delivery cost 30,000 and it arrived in two days.

I've ordered lots of furniture for cheap from G-Market and Interpark and they've all been great and arrived within 2/3 days.

Could you post a link to the bed you ordered? I'd pm you, but don't have 25 posts...

Also did it come preassembled? And did they bring it in to your apt?

thanks

Do yourself a favor and try to find out where the nearest used furniture market is. You can find great deals and they will include delivery/setup.
