This stuff is fantastic. Do they ever have end of season sales? I'd love to stock up on it.

It's the great new technology that keeps you warm.

Known elsewhere in the world as "clothes"

Yep, they do have sales every season. I remember all the Heat Tech stuff going on sale sometime at the start of the year.

Yeah, I saw that stuff in the store and wondered what it was. But does it really keep you warmer? Or is it just clever marketing?

It's great stuff. Uniqlo changes their seasonal offerings early, so I'd start looking for it to go on sale by February. You can probably find it on sale while it's still cold enough to enjoy it.

Stuff really works (I have three crewnecks of it), and the sales are decent. They go for about 20,000 won normally, and the sales brings them down to about 15,000 won. About 25% discount. And no, I don't work for Uniqlo, although that'd be awesome. I could use some free clothing.

They work so well than Uniqlo posted one of its biggest monthly losses this year because of an unusually hot autumn. Due to the rigid shipping schedules uniqlo shipped them to stores when the outside temperature was still hovering around 27-28 degrees.

Not ever having seen them before I assumed this heat tech stuff was meant to dissapate heat since it was on sale in the middle of a goddamn heat wave! Let me tell you, underneath a shirt and tie, I had the most unpleasant train ride and day of my life wearing that stuff. Sweat my balls off all day long.

Got home and vowed never to put it on again....at least not until winter actually does finally roll around.

The stuff works very well and is really comfortable. Most of the heat tech stuff goes great beneath other clothes unless, like the poster above mentioned, it's the wrong season. The past two winters I've picked up a bunch of different long sleeves from the Uniqlo at Technomart and haven't regretted them. I'm actually wearing a long sleeved one underneath my tshirt right now since there's really no dress code at my academy. I find them quite comfy.

Yeah! Heat tech rocks. Just dropped a *lot* of won at UniQlo buying tastefully sporty over and underwear.

HAHAHAHA!!! Laughing

Sorry, but that is good.

I had the opposite problem a few years ago. Asked my parents to send me some new long johns, and they bought me two pairs, a white pair and a black pair. Turns out the black pair was designed to keep you dry and COOL, for working out in the summer. Rode my motorcycle to work wearing those, didn't see my balls for a week after that.

I feel your pain buddy.
