I can't believe you like this crap but don't like Girl Talk, it's literally the exact same thing, even some of the same samples, just crappy quality and cut up terribly. |

First of all, i didn't say I didn't like Girl Talk. I said it wasn't my thing. The other thing I recommended isn't my thing either, I just thought that maybe since it was along the same lines that someone would like it.
I didn't make it, I don't know who did, but I thought that if I posted someone's homemade music that they put a lot of time and effort into and gave away for free, that at least one person on this whole shitty site would say 'wow, considering it was made for nothing, it's actually pretty good'.
But I guess that when you post something on the shittiest shitpile on the whole Internet, it's probably pretty naive to expect someone not to shit on it. |

Still doesn't change the fact that it's a bad Girl Talk ripoff, and I don't even like Girl Talk that much. I just can spot a lame ripoff when I see it.

I'm not *huge* on the music itself, but I have very strong (positive) feelings regarding Creative Commons licensing, remix culture, and open source culture as a whole.
I definitely support Girl Talk and I think he is a very talented gentlemen. Thanks!
(EDIT: Liking the new album A LOT. Lots of good rock from the start. Nice.) |

take a rest, i did enjoy some of that music you recommended. the first track is a little sloppy joe, but starting from the second one its not bad.
i'm really loving this new girl talk album though... 'war pigs' and 'get out the way' right at the start, classic stuff
i'm probably the biggest girl talk fan in the world though... definitely not for everybody |

I recently discovered Girl Talk. Its ok for party music as background music but listening it to any other time is just plain annoying to me. Also, the music is impossible to dance to as they rhythm and speed changes every 30 seconds!
Just so happens he's gonna be in my city (Charlotte, North Carolina) soon but I'll be in Korea by then!
also, why hasn't this guy been sued already? The RIAA is always going after people for piracy and whatnot. I mean, I support creative commons and all that jazz but how does he get away with it? |
